Dry fruit preservative
Dry fruit is made up of fruit. Fresh fruit can only be kept for few days before rotted, but dry fruit can be kept for few months in hot weather. This is all because dry fruit consists of preservatives. Most of the preservatives inside dry fruit is sulphur dioxide, in which the Government has control on the amount of it. But as the law controlling the amount of preservatives in dry fruit is not strict, there are always news about the problem of excess sulphur dioxide in dry fruit. Excess intake of dry fruit that contains too many sulphur dioxides is harmful to our health and this is especially serious for people having asthma. Stomachache, wheezing or even dizziness may be resulted.
